Master Gardener Course 2010

The Halifax Virginia Cooperative Extension (VCE) Office is accepting applications for the Master Gardener Course, offered through our local office starting January 12, 2010. If you have an interest in learning more about the care of your landscape and gardens as well as a desire to give back to your communities through educational programming, then the Master Gardener Course is something that you may very well be interested in and will have fun doing.

The course covers a wide variety of horticultural subjects including plant pathology, biology, propagation, soils, fertilizers, pesticides and their alternatives, as well as pruning and other plant care subject matter.

If you are interested, you can stop by the Halifax VCE office during normal business hours, or contact Bill McCaleb or a Master Gardener at 434-476-2147 to obtain an application.
You can also access an application through our direct website link: http://offices.ext.vt.edu/halifax/getinvolved/index.html
