Mardi Gras Masked Ball - A Mardi Gras party is going to be held at the Convergence Art Guild gallery on March 5 at 7 pm. Tickets are $10 (more at the door). Beer and wine will be available at our bar. Music will be by Adrian Duke and his band. A stage designer who works with the Halifax Little Theatre is handling the decorations. The Molasses Grill and several guild members will be providing the Cajun-themed food. On the menu will be jambalaya, red beans & rice, muffaletta sandwiches and other Cajun delights. Costumes and masks are being encouraged (there will be a mask-making workshop the previous weekend.) Local businesses are donating prizes, which are being displayed in the gallery windows.
