Joani Layman selected as Master Gardener of the Year

The Southside Master Gardener Association selected Joani Layman as 2010 Master Gardener of the Year. This award is given to a Master Gardener whose volunteer efforts are exceptional. Joani’s efforts led to a blue ribbon booth at the 2009 Halifax County Fair and successful plant sales in 2009 and 2010. Pictured are Joani Layman and Bill McCaleb, Master Gardener Coordinator.
