The 13th annual Picnic in The Park Fourth of July celebration will be held at Parker Park on Friday, July 3, 2009 from 6:30 until 10 p.m. Park will open at 6 p.m. with shuttle service by LCAAA.

The program will begin at 7 p.m. and will feature Frank Malone as Master of Ceremonies, Mayor Earl Horne, VFW Post 7166 and American Legion Post 79 presenting the color guard and rifle squad.

R and R Entertainment with Jeff Riggan will provide DJ services and other local talents will perform.

The grand finale will be the biggest and best ever fireworks show by Dominion Fireworks, Inc at 9:15.

Food and drinks will be available from local organizations. Bring your lawn chair.

The event is presented by The Town of South Hill, the South Hill Community Development Association, the South Hill Chamber of Commerce and the South Hill YMCA and Dixie Youth League.
