Not being expert gardeners, we were a little intimidated, but a raised Bed Garden seemed like something we could handle.
With the help of some local resources, we are going to try to grow something besides weeds.
Follow along in this series of gardening adventures as we fearlessly build a Raised Bed Garden and try to reap some healthy rewards from the result.

Heritage & Antique Machinery Festival 2010
Established in 2004 by a group of interested citizens
to help preserve the heritage of Halifax County;
the Halifax Heritage & Antique Machinery Festival continues to bring out people from all over Southside Virginia.
The 7th Annual Event offered visitors a view of the past and hopes for the future. Good crowds, good food, vendors, displays and demonstrations of all kinds made for an entertaining and educational weekend.
